It still happens, like with Camp Camp, but the discourse has moved from "voicing the same race" to AI stuff, especially with the strikes. Not like that argument can go anywhere with anime dubbing being mostly non-asian people, and most anime being about japanese characters. The answer would be fire 90% of all dub actors, and they'll never do that.
