Gay men are often added as an afterthought in media, and often ignores the struggles of being one. The gay men in it felt more like they were made with a real gay man perspective rather than trying to appeal to fujos. Neither Greg nor Manuel were flamboyant or femboyish. Hell they even threw in a sexy firefighter calendar as a gag. The astral cat and dog were kinda weird though, but they weren't even in it for twenty seconds
