The problem is when you get older, you have to pay bills, and pursuing your passion project dreams animating takes too much time/effort with no return unless you have a stockpile of money to live off in the meantime. Max G did not, and most animators that don't luck out with a Patreon (looking at you Vivziepop) can't continue making very creative content when they're just trying to keep a roof over their heads and not starve for another month. Shit sucks, but you gotta get by before you can fly.
