Dobson is a self-absorbed douchebag, but that doesn't really bother me. Many artists are, it doesn't generally detract from my enjoyment of their work. What REALLY bothers me about him is that I know he's capable of creating good, quality stuff... But he doesn't, because he's so damn hung up on being the Internet's punching bag.
