Honestly, being a superherois like working a second job, one that often demands overtime. That's why mps are broke, you're dumping 30-60 hours a week in the hero gig, then trying to juggle a 40 hour a week job to pay the bills (if you're lucky, some of us have to work two 30 hour a week jobs and still don't make it).
So it will really eat up your time together. Sure, you could team up part of the time, and it makes the job safer, but then you're focused on the badguys, not each other. And if you do focus on each other, then maybe the badguys do something you could have stopped and the guilt gets to you and fucks things up.
Now, if you got a talent for making gewar or finding info, something that can free up her time to spend with you, that might be a slightly better plan. Otherwise I say don't bother, focus on building a place she can feel safe and relax, that will probably get you further.
