i know for some people is something super cheesy but being honest i'm a romantic at heart, so for me she is an idealization of what i would like in a woman. Imagine having a lady who loves you as much as maid marian loves robin hood.
obviously reality and relationships are different, but is always fun for me to dream for love as pure as fiction and literature sometimes try to represent.
That, and i honestly miss female characters who have what we call the classic femenine traits, i know people doesn't like the damsel in distress trope because now every woman needs to be badass, but is a very romantic thought to know no matter what, someone loves you with so much passion that this person would give everything in their power to save the one who loves.
That's why mario and peach still works as fictional characters, i know some people gonna mention the end of mario's odyssey, but remember when mario saved peach on the first mario galaxy? heck the first time i saw that scene, is how i understand that no matter what, mario will try everything in his power to get peach into safety, because he loves her and at the same time peach know she will always have her plumber in shining armor... Or power ups, you get my idea.
