>>130259243>the horror of Red metal>>130180860Calling RED a he is more of a courtesy than a fact. It's almost giving him too much credit. After all, pronouns refer to things that have identities. The object that comes into my room is less a person and more of a fact. No blood, but a strange pulsation of the semi-fluid material that connects all of these misshapen cores. It shudders and flows, and the unnatural pulse turns my stomach.
Two eyes, but they're different color, and they're not pointing in the same direction. There may be more on the other side. Maybe those round patches are eyes, or pools of energy. I can't tell. The right arm looks like a hunk of scrap pipes covered in plastic that howls as it flexes and bends around itself. I don't think it even bends correctly- RED just forces it to move like an arm. The left arm is a bit more natural-looking, but only on superficial inspection, given the tire rubber sticking out of the upper portion.
To say nothing of the four warped appendages sticking out of RED's back, including three extra arms and an incomplete extended neck. Or the fact that one of the eyes on what I can only assume is the true skull has a lizard-like cornea and the other's eyelid appears to be a mouth, with teeth for eyelashes. The fake neck has a matching fake skull, complete with lifeless eyes and more teeth-lashes.
I don't know how this exists. Just watching RED move seems like a violation of nature. A glitch taken physical shape. And the voice that exits the mumbling mouth is the low grinding of gears.
"I GAVE YOUR FATHER LIFE, STELLA."
One side of the mouth breaks off, revealing teeth where there should be a cheek.
"IT'S TIME YOU RETURNED IT TO ME."
