Yes, its solid. They launched multiple, blatantly, marvel rip-offs at the time and his was BY FAR the best. Not just that, it was just a good book. I was sad it didnt keep going.

I call shenanigans. If the current GL book is a success they'll launch another, which, as you say will be Jess or the nick-nack-paddy-wack dogshit lantern at the helm. But IF that is done, then maybe, just MAYBE, he'll get his own book again.

This is the best shot he's had in a long time imo.

Jordan scripted the first 6 or so issues over DiDio's plots, then got booted in favor of DiDio solo. There's a huge difference between Jordan's issues (as he's a good writer) and DiDio's (he's not) IMO.

Kyle was always better as a Lantern and Jordan was always better as an antagonist/anti-hero when he was Parallax. From what I remember, the first time around that they benched Kyle was because Geoff Johns was a Jordan fan and it was around the time that he was hot shit so anything he pitched he got through, after that I sort of checked out but DCAU Stewart was pretty good too, dunno how much time he's gotten to shine in the actual comics.
