Personally, I mostly float for inspiration, or to see what's currently "popular" or "trending", which sad to say, American media is dying as studios continually shitcan the talent pool, cancel projects and cut budgets, and then buy overseas series for cheap redistribution, instead of funding anything "new" or "original" or hiring competent writers/artists to refresh the stale old company.
If I wanted to be shit on as an artist I'd hang in /ic/.
