Human woman shapes aren't quite as attractive to their fetishistic drives as more exotic, inhuman looking ladies. Therefore, to a heavy-metal enjoying robotfucker, a mechanical woman who looks identical to a human woman is basically going against a lot of why they actually like robot women.
There are of course still robofuckers into more human looking robot women, but it's not at all uncommon for the two groups to butt heads. I have also personally noticed that robofuckers into more human women may sometimes be into robot women for very different fetishistic reasons than those into more exotic or inhuman looking robot women.
