>>147544877>the cartoons shown in OPs image are mostly still alive and well knownDo people think or talk about the Jetsons these days?
Can you call the Simpsons "alive" at this point? It's well known of course, but isn't it a shambling corpse everyone who once cared for it wishes would be allowed to finally die?
Looney Tunes is still getting new things that are doing well, though I'm not sure how popular it is with younger people.
At the moment Scooby-Doo feels like it's on life support as a franchise, which is unfortunate because it has had a lot of actually good things in the past.
>the anime franchises are mostly forgotten if you aren't a 90s kid. only pokemon and goku are still relevant.Astro Boy/Tetsuwan Atom just had Pluto come out on Nextflix at the end of 2023 and it did pretty well.
Speed Racer/Mach GoGoGo is pretty dead even as far as merchandising goes.
Gigantor/Tetsujin 28 wasn't particularly a thing for the 90s at all, other than in Japan and some of Latin America.
Digimon is still getting new things pretty often but really doesn't do too great. Most of the discussion in the US is vidya and the card game these days.
Kimba The White Lion still has The Lion King.
Doraemon is Cultural Ambassador level still.
Gundam is still getting new series, video games, card games, movies, manga, and selling nearly a billion dollars of plastic model per year.
Honestly though including the Jetsons at all was a weird decision to make, the writer and artist surely could have come up with a better American robot character to have there next to Astro Boy right?
