The worst stuff in Dexter was the stuff like this. And don't act like it was only a Savino Seasons problem, that one episode where Dexter built the reverse/forward belt was annoying, and so was whatever episode that had that 5 minute long montage of Dexter typing, pulling wires, and wrenching.

This.
I've seen rants about the later seasons and while they have valid points like the change in the character designs and backgrounds. However, they always refer to the 4 minute shorts like the golfing one, as if that is the pacing for every episode in the entire season. Ignoring that kind of shit was always somewhat recurring since season 2, which is the best season of the show.
They also ignore the improvements made from Season 3 to Season 4. Everything was made better, from the visuals to the animation and the writing quality. While there's some clear stinkers in that season it's enjoyable in its own right.
You never, ever see people post this version of the house or discuss it. It's always Season 3's acting like they continued to reuse it for Season 4, every time. It deserve more credit.

I would never say seasons 3 and 4 are on par with seasons 1 and 2, but I do think there were some good episodes in there. Momdark, the one where Dexter goes to college, and the one where Dexter and Mandark's dads fight are great. I think Mandark's parents were a good idea, too.

*I feel like y'all don't know how to talk about the show more, it's getting very boring, it's like the same topics phrases, Savino bad, endings that don't satisfies me as a kid, DD sucks, contrarian type of opinion like (Justice Friends is better), how come like other Cartoon Cartoons Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd,n Eddy even Johnny Bravo gets constantly talked about in different aspects but when it comes to this show it's like I don't even know how to speak about a certain decent episode without bring me out the same topics.
