Assuming that there is a loading/messing event where "weight" determines the winner, the laxative may help get everything out into the diaper, but anything that leaks out of the diaper would not be measured, so the user in question may end up losing the event because the laxative caused them to leak.
There might also be an event that measures the speed of a caretaker to change their partner's diaper which involves proper cleanup. It's debatable, but the use of a laxative may make the changer's job harder, thus slowing them down and preventing them from winning the gold. For the most part, I'd argue that diaper-specific events forces the participants to be more honest since cheating would not be easy to do.
