>>4915303Alright, I'll let you in on some more of my best explanations.
Non-revealing outfits: The most obvious source of this is when I discovered Samus Aran was a chick (Which was roughly five minutes after I discovered Samus Aran was a thing), though I'll also mention that when my friend told me about Jin-Roh's armored troops I couldn't help thinking, "Gee, it would be hot if a girl wore that". This kind of led into latex and leather, obviously, but I still feel that the more important aspect is fullbody coverage.
Female monsters: This has some pretty silly origins. I used to be obsessed with catching creepy crawlies and shit when I was little. I think I was at least ten when my sister bought the first-generation Pokedex (Because remember, the first-generation Pokedex was A BOOK). I looked through it one day and asked why some of the pokemon were listed twice, one with a sign and one with a sign. She was sort of reluctant to answer, but admitted that they mean they're talking about female and male versions, and then went on to say that it applies to animals in real life as well. Obviously my mind was blown. It wasn't long before I was searching the internet for differences between male and female pillbugs and grasshoppers and earwigs and whatnot (Snails initially seemed cool because they were both sexes at once. Unfortunately it then occurred to me that anything that is both sexes is also likely to be an abomination). To say the least, I was very...sexist when it came to catching creatures from that point onward. Well combine that fetish with monsters and BAM! Female monsters. God, what a pervert of me.
