For backstory I would be from some magic hell world from an alternate dimension, where I would literally be at the bottom of the food chain, due to nearly every other being is some colossus as big as mountains. Other creatures that are smaller are closer to my position. A teenage witch from a version of Earth with magic finds a old dark book that tells how to summon a familar. She waits for the right time to due the ritual, and then during her summer break goes through with it. Meanwhile on the hell word my goo monster is being attacked by the rival when suddenly a portal opens up sucking both of us in. The portal was only ment to grab me, and I am infused with some knowledge about myself become a familar and all that it means. Both me and the rival appears on Earth dazed and confused, while the witch is shocked at what she summoned and repollsed by the shapeshifter. The rival recovers first and quickly shapeshifter a spiked tenticle and hurls it through the witch, before escaping out a nearby window. I through my new familar bond quickly know that my master is dying and quickly posses her body to try and keep it running. I effectively replace all of her blood, mucus, and stomach acid in order to fit my goo body into her. Using my elder knowledge I am just able to keep her alive and mind intact, however my main body will never be able to leave hers again, and will need to make copies to expel from her body at a later date to do anything myself. Unfortunately while my master is alive she is in a coma like state, and completly cut off from all her senses. She will "wake up" in 2 weeks, and from that time I will begin to reconnect her senses starting with hearing, sight, taste, smell, and then touch. Touch, however, will takes at least 2 months to reconnect, but will also allow her to move on her own power afterwards.
My character will play as a symbiote rather than a parasite. Due to my magic origin I will quickly learn this worlds magic for myself. If I am attached to someone without magic I effectively allow them the ability to fake using magic. The person will talk with me through telepathy in order from me to cast whatever spell they want me to do. If the person already has magic I can act as an extra magic source granting them a power boost, along with the ability to cast spells own my own. Duel casting. Due to goo body I am effectivly immune to physical attacks. My main weakness will be magic and electricity.
