I was going to make a post about this but I’ll just leave this comment here instead. I started doing CrossFit in January of this year. I went diligently 3x a week but in my off days I would just sit on my ass. After browsing /fit/ off and on I started doing a 5x5 on my off days and brother let me tell you, I am seeing some gains. I am still fat so nobody else has noticed but *I* have noticed. I feel fitter and stronger even though I’m only down a few pounds. My bench is up to 300 pounds and I can do pull-ups even though I’m 50+ pounds overweight. Having this board has motivated me to workout every day that I can so that I can make it. I want to make it so badly. I guess what I’m saying is thanks, bros, for the motivation. This is a fruitful board that makes lives better.
