Would lifting and karate on the same day be sustainable? We do a lot of HIIT type running and calisthenics [core and pushups only, there are multiple pull-up bars and a power tower at the dojo but using them is something optional to do after/before the classes]. Maybe the key would be to do upper body pull exercises only at the gym on Thursday, and then do push + lower body on Sunday?
