Bluepill me on SimpleX. Why should I use it over Session or Signal? In depth comparisons and schizo rants are welcome and appreciated

Simplex is the pedo's messenger of choice as the Session network has been getting attacked heavily for the last month. In my opinion it's overengineered and the extreme need to hide any global ID is absurd in my opinion.
Session is focused the more on privacy and anonymity compared to Signal. It's pretty ok when there isn't a coomer DDoSing all public groups since the porn groups shut down. You are still at the whim of the epsilon semi-retard devs.
Signal is only recommendable if you want to communicate with normies. Otherwise it glows pretty hard and has no good reason to exist in all honesty. If you basically want whatsapp but not owned by facebook and slightly better + an elitist community that will claim it's the forefront of privacy, it's your messenger of choice.
So Session > Signal > Simplex. All of which are trumped by Briar.

I know this seems like a cop out but talk to any admin hosting a privacy community there. Massive spam attacks because someone is mad about porn communities closing.

P2P, you can share the app with other people without the need of some server, no reliance on the internet - sending over BT or LAN is possible. It's threat model isn't 'Oh what if someone turns off a server?' but 'You are in a protest and need to communicate with everyone in a private and anonymous way right now'

Does this have anything to do with any security flaws with Session itself or are these just raids? If it's the ladder then they're idiots because chats default to auto delate after a certain period of time IIRC.

Depends on how you look at it. It's seemingly coming from one guy who abused that you don't need any verification to have a session account. However, there are work-arounds like whitelists or blocking of certain word combinations in open groups.

That's something you need to enable. However if someone doesn't get his message after two weeks it's gone from the swarm.

That reminds me, does the Session network function similarly to torrent network swarms? If I have the app do I have encrypted messages of someone else stored on my phone in order to help distribute it? Or are they sent directly to the clients?

Nope, that's closer to what Briar does. In Session the messages are stored in the nodes for two weeks, that's what I meant by the swarm. After these two weeks the messages are deleted off the swarm.
