I tried FreeBSD and I loved it but it just has that "it needs adobe suite otherwise I wont switch from Windows" vibe I get coming from Linux.
>my wacom tablet isn't supported, even though they literally ported over the linux driver and userspace
>open Blender and surprised to learn Nvidia so lazy they couldn't bother add CUDA libs with the Freebsd driver
>KDE plasma 5 just feels... weird, not as smooth as my experience on Linux and audio was glitchy
>devs don't wanna compile electron so now to install vs code you gotta fucking compile EVERYTHING yourself, wasted 10 hours on this shit (before I tried Blende!)
I WANT TO LOVE FREEBSD, but until Nvidia adds cuda libs and the devs finally figure out drawing tablet support I'm sticking with Mint. Donated $10 in hopes I can come back in 5 years to a perfect OS.
