>>13699112Communists are like demagogues nowadays who take a cause like solving poverty, anti-racism, feminism or gay rights, whip up hysteria over it and push people to make great sacrifices for it, which naturally involves donating to their particular group, hiring them to purge racism from an already far-left college, consuming yellow journalism, voting for who they are told to, violating other people's rights and such spurious activities. Except instead of an alleged "mansplainer" or some other nothingburger these people go after, it is that nerd who got better grades than them and went to a better college.
It is difficult to understand if you are a good person, but I'll try to explain. Imagine they used to hate the look of him, the way he talks, the way he dresses, they would go "ugh" and "ew", give him the cold shoulder, lie, vandalize his property when they could get away with it, no matter how friendly and chill he was they'd keep doing it because the permanence of their hate is part of what gives them a kick out of it. You have surely met someone like this. I myself found another kid annoying and mocked him a little, but I was ashamed at my behavior and decided it wasn't me, many however apparently reinforce and continue into adulthood.
Now imagine 10 years later he pulls up in a BMW, they have to pump his gas and he doesn't even recognize them and he tips them $5. As you can imagine they will find this kind of thing deeply upsetting. They have no reason to hate him, but they do. They don't really think about where their hate comes from, but they know they can't admit to their severe neuroses openly, so extremist ideologies like communism become a crutch. It gives them an excuse. Everything must be sacrifice for the cause and they alone decide what is to be sacrificed. Their preying eyes land on his BMW, they want it, they want to destroy everything he has earned and go "wanna cry", yet they can only watch him drive off.
This is the mind of a communist.
