I would like an explanation for cope25
So for the tool, even when a sample has insignificant values between 10~15% East Asia and the rest of Europe, is this somehow enough to plot these samples as hapas? the same considering the BMAC ancestry which is also relatively minority, is this plausible enough to show close distances to Tajiks? Related pic.
some Scythian samples from Cimmeria are basically without bmac or even east asian (of course, they are minorities)
but for some reason the tool is biased towards distances of up to 0.4 for komi and similar pops.
What the fuck happened to the Scythians? This hapa phenomenon occurred even in samples from western Ukraine.
those ""Scythians"" in Hungary are basically normal Europeans with Scythian tombs, in Europe it's all strange, with Italian Scythians and some with zero steppe. anons, who is cataloging the Scythians?
I don't understand why the Yamnaya are so close to the Tajiks if they didn't even have BMAC or anything East Asian. the most "Oriental" in the yamnaya was its components was CHG which is different from iran_N that the Tajiks have. This tool is a box of surprises
