I wanted to learn Spanish so I can move to south america and escape the MAGA cult destroying my country, but when I loaded up Duolingo every story scenario is about lesbians.
The first romantic espanol scenario about lesbians I put up with, but now it's every single one. They're ALL about this lesbian couple and depicting them as "normal" and trying manipulate me into accepting it.
I don't think there is anything wrong with lesbians, but I grew up in a homophobic christian household and am NOT used to this liberal shit and I find it highly distracting.
I now understand why Japan bullies foreign students and forces them to dye their hair. Just because your trait is innate doesn't mean you're not shoving it into my face, and the people who do that deserve to be bullied until they kill themselves just like those entitled white cunts in japan who insist on keeping their natural hair color.
I'm also upset that the designer of this app knew it would make me uncomfortable, and deliberately designed it to make me uncomfortable as a way of normalizing lesbians. Being "pushed out of my comfort zone" by some clerical liberal who hates me makes me extremely angry., I know that my upbringing is problematic and homophobic, but I still feel violated that these people think they can manipulate me into changing my attitudes, even the toxic ones. I am resentful that they are trying to "deprogram" me like I'm their slate or like it's any of their fucking business what fucked up homophobic culture I was brought up in.
I also understand that they feel like it's a win for their "side" if they can filter me out because of my refusal to adapt. I'm getting fucked over on language learning because I find the constant lesbian theming highly distracting and that's "good" for these people because my failure is the failure of "evil". I deserve to lose because I'm the bad guy.
I hope they die in trump's fascist racist shithole while I bail to latin america.
