We have many recipes for all of those fish, and I catch all in my backyard except for lobster and shrimp.
I don't know what all fish other countries have, be we have many kinds being that we border 2 oceans and have thousands of lakes and rivers.

In terms of freshness I'd always trust most the Japanese. In terms of spicyness, meaning not spicy as in hot but as in depth of flavour I'd go with Portugal. Though even classic "white" fish (dunno how its proper called in english) like fish in the UK does that well. So basically a draw

We don't have a particularly well-developed traditional seafood cuisine I'd say but we do have some pretty tasty staples. Also we absolutely are a "fish country", hard to expect the Aegean to be otherwise...

well, greece is a tiny country in the mediterranean, and most of it is costal, or a bunch of islands.
I guess that most of your food is fish-based, otherwise I wouldn't know what other kind of food you can produce other than olives.

I do pic related with 2 of my close friends every year (except beer not wine). We rent a spot on a lake in New Hampshire for camping midsummer spend the weekend there and do a clam bake and just chill. Bring a portable stove and just eat and drink and fish.

Also, I dunno if any of you other USA people have done a clam bake but I'd recommend it, it's pretty sweet. You just lay butcher's paper on your kitchen table and dump like $70 worth of food on it and dig in. It's pretty great and easy.
