Would you believe me if I said it was a pistol, so you can actually legally CC that loaded? Of course, you'd probably give the media a field day if you actually had to use in self defense.
It's a Gwinn Arm Pistol made by Bushmaster based on the Colt IMP. It's also a complete POS, but I plan on making it better.

And that's pretty much all the documentation I found on the arm pistol, aside from some old manuals.
It's an interesting footnote in bullpup/PDW development. I kind of want to see what it would be like if it was designed and made today.

Yeah, I agree. I've held one at a gunshow and felt the same way.

Maybe I was expecting too much. I own a FS2000 and was expecting it to be similar to that (big and bulky, but comfy as fuck to hold and solid). Maybe it's the plastic that's used, but my FS2000 feels fucking solid. The same can't be said for the ARX.

I hate the fact that you can't change the main grip.

I hate the default AR grip with a passion and a half.

They could have at least designed something more ergonomic if it was to be molded in, vs taking an original design and then shamelessly glomming on a grip design from some other weapon with a different design language.

Sure, I get that it's so that it remains familiar to military personnel used to using the AR, but...

The MDR is likely to happen.....the RDB... well after nearly 8 years Kel-tec has only produced about 6000 RFBs (one of which I have) and now they're stopping that line entirely. The CMR-30 that was supposed to be released 3 years ago still isn't on the market, and guns like the sub-2000 are near impossible to find, let alone find new. So yeah, kel-tec doesn't manufacture guns. They manufacture hot air.
