despite this the Germans tried to simply deport them (haavara/transfer agreement, madagascar plan) - when that didn't pan out they simply interned them (like the americans did with the japanese). A couple hundred thousand died at the end of the war due to german supply lines being cut, starvation, disease etc.
Also Germany invaded Poland because the Germans living in what was formerly Prussia were being ethnically cleansed
