Speaking of SAMs and stealth aircraft, NATO is in a really bad position in regards to being able to counter the newest Russian SAMs. The latest S-300 variants and the S-400 are now all capable of acquiring, tracking and engaging stealth aircraft, especially small ones like the F-22 and F-35.
Larger ones, like the B-2, remain less vulnerable, but they aren't nearly as effective as they were before. It's possible that they can't be engaged by SAMs, but the acquisition radar will be able to provide enough information to interceptors that can pick it up using IRST.
