Does anyone else find it rather amusing how for everything that is banned in a prison, be it pretty much anything, ranging from cell phones to computers to guns to knives to other weapons and pretty much anything else, that inmates will always life hack their way around it? Pic related is a shotgun that was made in a prison in Germany.
For cell phones, they have prison radios that they can cannibalize into a transmitter so that they can eavesdrop on prison guards walkie talkies and communicate remotely with other inmates, for computers, well they could probably build one of those paperclip computers using commissary and other items found in a prison, for guns there have been many cases of zip guns and fake guns that have been built by inmates that have been used in escapes, for knives they have shanks and shivs, and they also can use build other weapons and gadgets too, ranging from tattoo guns (and other accessories for them), wired remote controls for their TVs using buttons from a CD player and a cord from a headphone set, etc.
And there's a whole laundry list of other things that have been made from very little materials, such as a toilet paper shiv, paper shanks and even cigarette lighters made from as little as two batteries, two razor blades from a shaving razor and some electrical tape and not to mention booze made from the crudest fermentation process for alcohol ever that could give you botulism.
What is /k/s take on this?
