>>14890230>>14893127>Privleged people don't experience bigotry.>you guys don't face harassment, bigotry,It seems I'm facing harassment and bigotry right now, as a matter of fact.
Did I choose to be born a heterosexual cisgendered white male, or was I just born that way? Does my having been born that way make me somehow worth less than someone else who was born into a different situation? Does my having been born that way somehow make it more okay for you to harass me?
Please, remind yourself what the term "bigotry" really means before you make these kinds of sweeping, disparaging generalizations about a segment of the population based on their race, gender, sexuality, etc.
It doesn't matter whether it's the "privileged" discriminating against the "marginalized," or the "marginalized" discriminating against the "privileged" (or, more often, the "privileged" using the "marginalized" as an excuse to complain about the other "privileged" people). One way or another, bigotry is bigotry. Reversing the direction doesn't suddenly make it okay.
