>>34439135>The tree is withering because there's no more polarityWat? Which polarity and why would the tree an hero with the students inside?
>round table of baddieI knew they were planning that, it seemed much more logical then the villain trio.
>M6 fights SombraSo do they instantly bet him in the opener again, or does he get away? I assume he would survive, otherwise the elements of disharmony concept would stop working.
This whole arc sounds convoluted though, I couldn't even keep track of the current EoH lore in S8 and this sounds even worse.
>key episode throughout the series is of the Grogar/Discord sending previous villains to fight themSo Discord is an actual villain who constantly attacks Equestria through his minions so he doesn't lose Fluttershy? That just makes his "reformation" in S3 even worse.
Also I assume by series they mean season and this idea brought us Frenemies and The Summer Sun Setback.
>audience feels safe without it really being safeHuh, I assume they're planning one mid-season episode that's just one old villain after the other attacking, how would this feel safe and how could there be any hints like in FiM1, the pacing wouldn't work at all.
>its Discord all alongInteresting, no word if he gets to stay or has to go with the princesses.
>the villains even realize the power of friendshipSo they did plan their redemption. I assume Frenemies and the Q&A instagram shorts came from that idea. Seems like the really fucked up the planning, since the ending didn't fit those plans anymore.
The writing process seems to have been a nightmare, there are serious hints of miscommunication and an obvious lack of a leading vision or figure.
I can't help it, this all seems horrible uninspired too, just action plots based on S1 lore but without the themes that made that old lore enjoyable. I guess this is the one thing that persisted to the actual finale.
Truly The End of the Creator-Driven Era.
