I discovered pone through the series of russian YTPs and an article on the russian æ rip-off Lurkmore, but I've started to watch pone from S1 in one winter day, when a terrible allergy got me and I couldn't do shit. I've watched all the S1 in that day, so it was quite a great shit for a preschool girly cartoon. And then I've continued to watch them as they were, was crushed by MMC and other terribly done episodes, but stopped at "Horse Play" (yeah, where a fucking ruler can't play herself in the school theatre) and never watched other episodes after that one and never watched anything from G4 but "MLP the Movie" (which is a big, but poor piece of shit with M6 as a bunch of retards and new characters and places as good as cardboard) and a couple of the first "Pony Life"episodes (which is a short as zoomer's attention-span but very smelly piece of shit with an awful style and "characters" doing poor visual "jokes" every 5 seconds).
It should be stated that I had no contact with any of your or other doomfags before or at the time i was watching pone, and I haven't read any duscission threand in the same time periods, so I discovered the unpleasant surprises of G4 by myself. It didn't stopped me to like pone - my love for them never whithered and still drives me to collect pics of pone, sit here and post pone here and there - but I still prefer many S1 and S2 episodes more than the later ones.
And what can I say about G5? It calls for an ignoring and/or obscurity from its very start: horrible character designs, bland and uninteresting plot in a small as fuck setting with the blatand modern culture references all over it. Should I have some hopes for it? Maybe. Do I have any hopes? No. Will I watch it? Yes but just out of curiosity, to see how low it will fall and/or fail.
