Merging together, sure, using other bits of the forest to build rudimentary platforms / ramps, could have been learned from Anon.
But forming a launch pad and essentially turning themselves into a rocket in order to suplex an airship just because they wanted to be near Anon, stretches disbelief more than a little bit.
I liked the living airships part, you could have done more with that instead maybe, a little bit of "Part of the Ship, part of the Crew" tomfoolery if Twilight kept insisting the Crystal ship wasnt alive and inadvertently insulting all the Crystal pony crewmates even more than her choice of meal already did.
