>>30577060The reason why we have to resort to scapegoating is because businesses are closed, black boxes that don't like people prying into their inner politics.
If they did, that business wouldn't last long because:
a.their competitors would use the information to their advantage to take the best talent or manipulate the executives to making bad decisions
b. the investors or the government would see all the grey area, lose-lose decision making that would make the public and investors squeamish
c. companies doing "illegal but kept under wraps because everyfuckingbody else is doing it/ we need a competitive, if illegal, advantage or we go under" rule breaking that would ruin the company and crucify their employees to the public if it got known
And I'm not saying put the creatives on a pedestal either. George Lucas fucked his own franchise, for example. I'm just saying that we can't see the inside of the company so all that rage has to go somewhere. The creatives blame the suits, and the suits never say anything to defend themselves because they're the ones who have to put this shroud in the first place.
Playing devil's advocate aside, I still hate Hasbro for pushing Lauren off, really fucking with the lore in an obtrusive way because muh princess quotas, and killing the magic for whatever competent people were left causing a mass exodus of talent.
Despite this Haber has a burningman revelation and decides to suit up and suck up his way become a "creative" (like all hacks) just for some gayboipussy so he can feel better for wasting his life, and Jim wanted his tendie Twitter good boy beta points until he finally got the message to shut the fuck up and attempt to do his fucking job about a year ago.
And because the company is going to say and do fuck all, keep giving the MLP comic license to people who don't give a shit (IDW), steal fan assets and pretend that nothing happened, I think I am right in saying that Hasbro should stop raping its pony franchise.
