I draw the details of the face with the medium pencil like i said, I use the blue lines as a guideline but ultimately just draw them as I see it appropriately.
I changed the legs a little bit because my source had the front legs layered differently; it's never too late to backtrack and fix something.
The blue lines get erased with various bucket fills the I go after the stray ones with a 1px pencil. The eyes are pretty easy but once I get those done I feel like I'm almost done.
This is the part where I should give everything one last look before I submit it. Usually I don't then resubmit it again with minor edits.
