And based on your explanation, I figure that "VIP Section" is more of a ceremonial title bestowed upon that Company because of tradition going back to when it was the size of a Section. It's just like how "The Captain of the Guard" is a ceremonial title bestowed upon the Major General commanding the Household Division, because of tradition going back to when it was just a single Company.

I'll have to do a side-by-side comparison with my original and take notes so that I can continue to improve my own art.
The only thing I don't like is that I had intended to have his hoof raised like in the attached picture. In fact, I even used this picture as one of my references and drew my rough sketches over it, in order to make sure I got the limb and torso length correct, since I often struggle with that in my drawings and tend to make the torso too long. The reason I wanted his foreleg posed like that is that I had intended to go back and add more layers and draw on his magician stage clothes, as well as some playing cards levitating over his raised hoof. Then I was going to add even more layers and create a third picture of him in his daytime guard armor.
