>>25708424>No love for Broken Steel, or the Eerie?Broken Steel is on my to-read list, I just haven't yet.
I haven't heard of The Eerie until now, so on your recommendation I'm adding it to the to-read list as well.
I haven't read much beyond what I just listed, desu. That's why I can't attest to the quality, because I haven't actually read them. I have a backlog of about 50 stories I want to read at this point.
>>25708431>herAlways referred to as her, benefit of the doubt, etc etc.
>Not an official oneYeah, I've actually had my opinions changed massively since I posted that with the research I've done. She would've *technically* had a map from Granny Smith showing four locations roughly around chapter 24, if I'm getting my timing correct. But yeah, it wouldn't of helped at all by that point. If you're curious what one, check the second post I made:
duall00.tumblr.com>whatever idea of the land's shape Kkat had when writing is outright unusableWell, a few things with that:
1) Yes. Absolutely correct. I didn't know it at the time, but I do now. Things like Manehattan being a two day trip from Ponyville and things like that.
2) All of her blog posts she has specifically made non-canon, they are just her headcanon.
3) That being said, some of her descriptions are damn near Pinkie Pie levels or precognition. One such thing is she mentions a gorge on the way from Hope/Ironshod to Appleloosa. There is indeed a gorge. I read over quite a bit that never stood out until I started /really/ combing through, but the first time I was reading through to get locations I got to Splendid Valley before the saddle rubbed.
>The only thing that lies down the path you're on is insanity.Yup. Still gonna give it a go though.
Honestly, I appreciate the feedback, however barbed it was meant to be. If I hadn't of learned all that in the past few days, you would have made me do so.
