You literally cannot defend this movie as being anything other than a little better than utter shit. Yes, lightning struck once. But this is now akin to a company manufacturing a lightning machine and trying to get it to strike in the exact same spot again, but instead the machine explodes from the inside and kills everyone around it.
We HAVE the thing we like. Ponies! We're gonna get more in Season 4! We DON'T need Equestria Girls at all.
