Some people find art of a character inherently lower quality than art of a landscape. I say that many people mistake quality with preference. Therefore, when someone is using the word quality, I can't assume that they're using the same definition of the word that I am. They are very likely using preference instead of quality, but they think it's quality that they're measuring.
The two posts I told you to look at were from someone who was trying to make a quality-only site, and were explaining the problems they were having.
