Honestly, even if twilicorn wasn't Faust's "true vision", even if Magical Mystery Cure was a jumbled, rushed piece of garbage, can i just say that Twilight becoming a princess, in my opinion, is completely appropriate when I consider what's actually going on in the fucking show.
>consider the following
Twilight is the student of Celestia. What do students learn for the most part? Mostly things applicable to their future profession. Who is the most qualified person to teach you anything about the profession that you are learning about? someone who has actual experience doing said thing. Sure Celestia is teaching her primarily magic and friendship, but consider what Twilight ultimately becomes; element of magic and motherfucking princess of friendship. holy shit! Even if Twilight didn't know that she was on the path to becoming a princess, Celestia sure knew what her intentions for Twilight were. We've had plenty of canon hints and pointers in S3, (and others if you're willing to stretch). So in conclusion why else would a princess that rules over an entire nation take on a student for any other purpose besides teaching her how to become a princess? why the fuck would you take lessons from a sun princess on friendship and morals for any other reason than besides to become a princess?
Not to mention: Celestia, Luna; Day, Night.
>whats in between day and night?
