The castle library in Ponyville must be slowly reaching the former glories of Golden Oak, Still, without an eidetic memory cataloging the contents of that former repository of knowledge, it may be difficult to fully replace what was lost. Even if back-up inventory logs were stored at, say, Town Hall, there's also the issue of scarcity, as well. Local records, old and rare tomes - Ponyville was fairly well stocked for its relative age and size. It could be years before a full restoration is made, assuming nothing was completely exclusive.
Perhaps tracking down family that branched away could help in that sort of endeavor. Granny Smith would be invaluable, there, and then too, having representatives from all across Equestria gathered in one place might also be a useful excuse to request assistance in such matters.
Hopefully, some civic-minded griffon decides to take upon the task of fixing up their own neglected library.>>23576087Previous thread.
