Short written by a newfag:
1.watch 2-3 S1 episodes about Fluttershy
2. write simple scenario about Fluttershy being shy
3. Write her interacting with animals
4. Make her brave when the animal is being problematic (most likely using STARE)
5. End
And this is what Vogel, COnfalone, Larson or any writer who gives a shit would do:
1. Be aware of ALL episodes throughout the season and all relationships with other characters
2. Write a scenario which showcase the changes, for example:
Fluttershy and Discord have a picnic(reference to her closeness to Discord) in another dimension (reference to the episode when he almost banished Tree Hugger) when suddenly they are attacked by wierd flying creature. Discord want to use violence but Fluttershy resolve it peacefully since she already learned to be assertive and that using STARE is more of a fear/intimidation technique and she shoudnt use it (reference to her no longer being shy in new seasons)
But since Haber doesn't give a shit, those crappy character regressions will happen even in S9.
