>haha le tip fedora memeMorons.
Then again, the majority of issues one faces with Linux can be solved with the simple act of reading and referencing documentation, man pages, and God's gift to Earth: the Arch and Gentoo wiki but normies get scared by the scary black terminal and words.
I've never understood the mentality that
>It's not user friendly if you have to open the terminal!Pressing a keyboard shortcut and typing in one command to upgrade your entire system is objectively more user friendly than having to fuck around in a GUI software manager pressing five different buttons and then having zero information conveyed to the user as to what exactly is happening aside from obscure progress bars.
Christ, the most infuriating thing about Windows for me is precisely this. When shit breaks on Windows it's the most un-user friendly shit on the planet because all I'm greeted with is some infinite loading screen followed by an obscure error code that when I enter into Google gives me zero helpful information. At least on Linux when shit breaks it makes it clear as day why it broke making it considerably trivial to fix given you can just read. I fucking hate Windows troubleshooting so God damn much man because I have to fix boomer PCs for a job and it's painful. Just give me a fucking output to work with, stop giving me a quirky error message like
>Haha, oopsie woopsie, shit brokie wokie oopsie pls try again very sorry :(
