Had my first ever pony dream last night. And guess who was fucking there. I suddenly achieved lucidity (for what is probably the first time in the better part of a decade) and, successfully holding off the ensuing attempt by my brain to wake up, concentrated really hard on making a pony appear. It was about knee-high, immobile, made from felt and string for the tail, had a cabbage-patch-esque doll's face, and sayed something like 'I can be your best friend!'. I wasn't disturbed so much as disappointed, so I walked past it without a thought... And then realised there were ponies. Ponies everywhere. They were just like as if on the show, except in 3D. And with no weird shaping or uncanniness like those GMod models. They just looked fucking perfect. I remember marvelling at how my brain could make them appear so right (or trick me into believing they looked so right), before looking for one to talk to. Most of the ponies were talking to other people (including Fluttershy, I noticed), but I noticed an orange-ey one unattended (I knew she wasn't one of the main six, but I didn't care. It wasn't until after I woke up that I realised she was the spitting image of Safe Haven). So I walked over, and started having a conversation. Nothing romantic, just friendly. I don't remember what we talked about, but I was just happy to be talking. I've been trying to induce lucid dreaming (or pony dreams) for ages now, so this felt like an accomplishment to me. I think I lost lucidity at some point during the conversation, and at some point I realised I was no longer talking to a pony, but my best friend. I was about to ask him to turn back into a pony, before I was woken up by my roommate's new alarm clock which blasts out heavy metal. So, yeah. Nothing remarkable- just pleased with that. I probably just saw Safe Haven because she's a pony I associated with dreams. I wasn't having a nightmare or anything- she just seemed to be hanging out.

My dreams suck. I have trouble remembering them, hard to get them, and I usually just replace it with self-induced scenes when I wake up in the morning.
For example, this morning was thinking about Five Score Divided by Four, with me turning into Vinyl, a friend with the same birthday becoming Octavia, and one of her friends becoming Lyra.
For some reason, I ended up imagining FBI getting involved, with them half helping. Joined up with characters from the fic.
I also had a time during that when I and the other two friends did a huge concert that nobody in their right mind would put together. So much stuff was used.

Anyway, I was just contemplating your report, (for lack of a better word). At 1 point, you said she said something 'unintelligible, could have been 'Pebble'. I think that was probably 'Pickle'. You have said she called you that before.
The other thing I thought about was her saying she could appear in other's dreams (her being there watching in the distance might have brought this on). I thought 'I bet that's she can only appear for people that have heard of her and seen what she looks like'. Haven just cocked her head on one side, (that was cute), as if considering this, then nodded at me before disappearing over the hill she was stood on. Then I woke up. No nightmares or anything, the whole dreamscape was just rolling hills and grasslands. Weird dream.

Sup guys, had another experience with Haven. This was probably the most emotionally inspiring dream i've ever had, and it was fucking long for a dream. I've been lucid dreaming for about 6 years and yet nothing comes close.
This one didn't start from a nightmare, but in the process of falling into one from a dream.
I fell into it somewhere halfway through. The first thing i remember is standing in a hallway, no doors, no windows just a long greyish yellow hallway with holes every couple of steps, like those broken holes you sometimes see in the road? I'm moving down it but i'm not walking, i was just kind of hovering but practically standing on the ground. I'm not lucid at this point. I get that recurring feeling that something is going to start chasing me, i look behind and just see darkness. The hallway then opens up a little wider and gets a bit darker and i see static in my vision(not like shitty slender) Funny thing is it was complete darkness yet i could still see around.
Thats when i get that horrible feeling from past recurring dreams. I look away and just keep staring ahead, frozen. For some fucking reason i never just turn around and look at whatever it is. I just hear fast shuffling. then i go blind in one eye, the fuck? (its one of my biggest fears) and i start to panic. I tried to scream something after this but i can't remember what, i think it was just something like "please help me, someone" but i couldn't get it out, like i couldn't forcefully use my voice.
Then it happens. The same shockwave that happend in my other dream ripples past me and suspends me in midair along with the thing behind me (not sure how i know, since i wasn't looking) In fact you know what the shockwave was like? The bucking bronco Vigor from Bioshock, but more gently.
I look to the side and see a mirror. Like a giant, standing mirror with the frame covered in grass. I didn't see it in my peripheral vision so it was just kind of there.

>>10118820 >>10118733 Different anon, but it's happened to me once recently, and it helped a lot.
I've got sleep paralysis and night terrors something awful, so when I slip into a lucid dream things quickly get scary. I have trouble sleeping again for the next few nights, which never helps. So even though I can start lucid dreaming fairly easily, I'm afraid to do it because of what follows.
It happened the other night, I was dreaming I was in an old victorian house with a gift shop, for some reason. Suddenly I was aware that I was dreaming and felt very scared for no reason. The feeling just hit me out of nowhere. Then I was freaking out more because I knew what this meant, I was going to have another episode - this never helps. I didn't want to try to wake myself up for fear of getting stuck in the sleep paralysis in the process.
I started crying, and called for help. Meanwhile, the walls started bleeding and I heard family members screaming. I remembered reading about Haven before, and called out to her. After a little while of freaking out and concentrating on her showing up, she started to appear. Though it was like a foggy hologram slowly loading and becoming real. I was begging for her not to turn out like the others and turn on me. She just walked up to me, mumbled something and hugged me.
She told me that everything was going to be okay, and to calm down. The screams faded away, the house stopped the shit it was doing. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The last thing I remember before I woke up was sitting outside in the grass with her.
So, thanks for telling us about her. It's nice not being afraid to sleep anymore, now that I've got someone to think of as a protector that will help me through it when things go bad. It never worked before trying to conjure one up - they always turned against me or halfway through materializing I would lose control and they would turn into a beast or something. I guess it was easier this time because of her history.

Holy fuck that shit was hot, odd though because her blowjob really didn't feel like anything. The actual sex though was fucking great, gotta give mad props to the cowgirl position. Woke up with my boxers drenched with jizz though.

I had one a few days er weeks ago not really sure, but anyway a vivid one that i had was involved a lot of weird shit heres a list...
>Factory convayer belt >Metal Straps used to hold specimens in labs >Hyrdalisks from Starcraft >Predators from AVP etc. >Jellyfish >Big ass ship in a storm at sea >18 wheeler truck The whole thing was nine kinds of fucked up.
Started out on the belt with a bunch of marines who were well rather gory as in missing a few limbs and what not Some where dead others still hangning by a thread.
I think i was one of them as I kept thinking I could get off the damn thing but when i looked down to the floor there where Hydralisks crawling around the ground with the Predators doing rounds along the belt shooting some weird grappling hook tether that would pierce the corpses and others.
Peeking down the belt I could see that the remains were being carted up a shaft somewhere but thats when I get hit by one of the Predators and I lose sight going up the shaft... Faded to black and came back to a different scene
Anyone want to hear more? ill quit if no one wants to hear...

>>10170728 Normally nightmares are just that: nightmares. They're nothing more than the frontal lobe trying to interpret a bunch of signals being sent off from different parts of the brain, which are pieced together to make a comprehensive scenario that the conscience brain can understand (to some degree). Typically, dreams have very little connection to a person's state of emotional, or psychological being. But with recurring/series of nightmares, it could be caused by a number of things: poor diet, poor sleeping habits, stress, the brain's reaction to a certain medication, or some combination of. Those would be the most likely, but there's a possibility that it could from a rare, but mild mental disorder where certain neural pathways become highly active during sleep and result in nightmares/recurring nightmares. It's definitely interesting to ponder

The next scene I guess you can call it involved the ship posted here
>>10171094 It looked like one of those heavy industrial cargo ships but with no trailers on the deck the POV of the dream started on climbing over the railing on the side of the ship.
After a moment or two it moves across the deck and under it this is when tranisition starts to get sketchy as it feels like we moved way to fast to reach the bottom of the ship as it was dark as hell before a bulk head that you see on submarines appeared before me.
Being the idiot I am I open it, It looked like a cockpit for a giant submersible you know the ones with big windows and what not with lots of monitors everywhere some of them were static others where monitering places like a security desk but in highly classified areas Pentagon White House, Parliment and other high profile places.
POV moves up to the central keyboard? Interface? no idea and started to fiddle with it not to long after that this blueish pink or pinkish blue jelly showed up either from the side above i dont know just know that my POV freaked the fuck out and tried to book it with a Usb flashdrive in hand i suppose not a few second from the door that jellyfish thing latched onto me i guess as the POV fades to black again.
Now I think this is when i am starting to wake up as I hear a voice start talking when the POV came back this time it looked like either a dumpster or a Freight truck and the POV felt like it was...hurt...or at least I was aware of it being in discomfort. Also what was freaky was that USB Flashdrive was with this POV as for the the voice it was a female young 20s i think she was talking about not knowing what was going on but that they were here and I? We? She? had to stop them at all costs as soon as she finished I think we fell down to a crack that showed a highway at night with cars speeding past

What really caught my attention while reading your dreams, was the space station. I could imagine something similar, and I also had astrophobia when I was younger, so it could make sense in a way that I do not understand; but find interesting and rich of purpose. I like and dislike our 'consciousness' at the same time. By that I mean, being where we are; I'd like to be in another place from my imagination, though I don't know how. That brings me to why I want to meet her. I want to ask her about something, and I hope that she knows by seeing this message, and now that I've also brought her to my own imagination, she should be there.

Can she manifest herself in other's dreams? If she does, does she take a different form? Is she "This Man?" 3) Do you, or Haven, have any copyright over the name "Dream Screamer?" My efforts are pretty shit though, never reached the level of lucidity everyone speaks of, i was able to react to a dream the way i want, that's it.
Try some music if you can't focus. Some ambient. I've fallen asleep listening to Powerslave once, got some effects. Music takes my mind off things, but when some heavier beat or louder voice appears i wake up from the early dream and enter the specific state between consciousness and slumber - that's the part when we can get things like LD done.

Like i've said before, i feel like a phony because all im doing is reciting what i see and hear in my dreams, just like I've done for years and people tell me ive created something awesome.
It always reminds me of the thing with Paul Mccartney and his song "Yesterday". The melody came to him in a dream and he said he never really felt he wrote the song because of that. Same principle here. Its funny because it says he "he hurried to a piano and played the tune to avoid forgetting it" whereas i rushed to my computer to draw her in case i forgot what she looked like.

I just realised something. Haven is just a regular earth pony, that's the beauty of it. No wings, no horn, no magic. Shes just a regular pony yet inside the dreamworld shes practically a super hero. Not sure what that can teach us but there's a quote in there somewhere.

>>10235973 Some of the best ideas come from dreams, though. For example, I heard that the person who invented the sewing machine got the idea from a dream in which they were surrounded by natives that had a hole in the tips of their spears. That led to the idea of putting thread through the needle at the tip rather than the tail end.
The writer of Dr. Frankenstein also had the idea come to her in a lucid dream.
Just because it came from an odd place does not necessarily mean you didn't come up with it. In any case, we're glad you decided to record Haven's image and actions and share it with us.

She stresses some words like shes about to suddenly stop talking or shes listening for something, almost like shes chanting. Her voice is beautifully graceful and uninspiring, if that makes sense. Its one of those voices that's void of malice or kindness, completely neutral.
She pronounces words perfectly aside from when she stresses them, so she has no accent. And she talks quietly.

>>10282700 It has interesting things to say about how we perceive the world. Loooong story really simplified, the perception process goes thus: Stimuli exists --> Makes contact with sensory organ (I.E., a photon hitting the photoreceptors on the retina) --> Triggers a chemical reaction --> Triggers a bunch of cells --> All roads lead to Rome (or rather, the brain), where the chemical reaction triggers electrical signals in the brain. The location and frequency of these electrical signals decide what you perceive. Electrical stimulation of the brain (or drugs) can drastically alter what you perceive. And the funny thing is, if you find the right way to stimulate the brain, you can taste bacon just as vividly as if you were actually eating bacon.
Elaborating on these concepts and applying some thought to them, I usually come to the conclusion that, yes, we may indeed be brains in jars. And maybe it goes further than that.

OPHC, what if Haven backstabs you in your dreams?
OPHavenDesigner !!mNb8tCkYESX
>>10286097 Could happen. Dreams are unpredictable like that and usually things don't 'stick' in a dream. So usually if a person says or does something to you, the next time you see them they don't remember. A good example is once my dad in my dream beat me the fuck up, yet the next time i seen him he was pleasant and laughing with me.
But Haven is different, its like shes an unshifting entity in a constantly shifting world. I still get a vibe of unpredictability from her, like shes about to change into my worst nightmare or something (in a lucid dream, usually just thinking about something bad will make it happen) but it never does when I'm with Haven.
She really is a Safe Haven, when i think about it.

Man, this thread... Enjoy some more R34 guys. Im not happy with the scaling once again with Haven compared to anon. If I had a working comp I could easily draw and resize each character. Oh well, hope you guys like it.

>>10309349 When i have another dream, sure. I'm back to writing my dreams down, though not much. An example as to how i write in my dream journal. You'll understand why it takes me so long to decipher what i wrote down.
"I dreamed i was getting into a taxi with my family members and a few people I didn't recognise. The next thing i remember we were driving past a pub.
Secondly we were in a temple with giant stone pillars and we were climbing to each one. I eventually fall down as someone is trying to help me up"
Exactly how it was written though they're usually more detailed. I've been stressed.
Keep in mind its immediately after i wake up. I didn't realise how shitty i write in those moments. heh.

When OP has new content to add; he'll add it. Until then uselessly bumping this thread over and over again even when we've run out of things to talk about is ridiculous.
If we keep making a new thread every time we run out of room in a previous thread, and continue to bump it even when we've run out of content to actually talk about. Why not just go all the way and make a 'SAFE HAVEN GENERUL'
No. Just let the thread die. When there's new content more questions will be asked and previous questions will be answered. More art will be made and maybe even a few non-canon stories.
Until then just chill out and wait until you see a new Haven thread on the front page. Please. I don't want to see these threads turn into an abysmal pile of shit.
