Looks like Craig's typical shit; tons of toilet comedy and ugly designs paired with actual good concept backgrounds and action.
McCracken is never gonna grow out of his cheesy shit routine of wacky old 40s shows
You'd think he'd try once in a while to direct a different genre but no it's just like hotel transylvania, he will never achieve writing respectable, suave, down to earth characters, in other words he will never reach Gargoyles level, and that is why Lauren Faust's first season of FIM stood out compared to her other works like Fosters Imaginary Home. Faust took McCracken's fun action and expressive poses,faces and overall cartoony feel and combined it her mature laidback writing of the characters.

I get why he's doing it, it is to mimic 60s cartoons. In some ways I really like where he is going with the design, but as a whole it is just jarring. The extremely fluid character movement and shading and even just a clean HD image take me out of the experience of watching a 60s cartoon. Everything else seems to be modern so the character designs just come off as cheap or lazy.

Big brother /co/ came to a consensus after arguing about Ponies on /co/ and other boards and that consensus was. That well they hope to see Wander over Yonder do well.
