I'm mildly surprised no one questioned the fallacious reasoning presented in this post

>>22799125You don't need to know about meiosis to know that when two animals of opposite sexes mate, the female one is then likely to become pregnant and bear offspring. The central question here is whether MLP ponies resemble Earth's animals in this regard, whether they are mammals, to be more specific. It is not whether there are cells, if there are cells at all, in their bodies that undergo mitosis. You blatantly misused Occam's razor by applying it to an explanation of a process instead of its cause.
We can't observe MLP ponies' biology at a cellular level or its equivalent, because this information is not provided to us. The comparison has to be made based on what we can observe, and I'm afraid Occam's razor will not be in your favor then.
