I always wanted to expand on this a little more and how Dash is having a huge crisis within herself because while her colt doesn't want to follow in her footsteps but she sees the tremendous natural talent he has for flying when an incident occurs that forces him to go hard and he outshines and out manurvers all the Junior Wonderbolts trainees. So she battles with herself about if she should try and push him into being a wonderbolt since he clearly has the potential but also not wanting him to do something he clearly doesn't want to do and make him miserable when at the end of the day, she just wants her foal to be happy.

I was reading the green "Anon and his Twi mom" and was wondering if I was a bad person for agreeing with anon during the part where he argues with Scootaloo and causes a big hubub over finding a bunch of books about his species that he never knew about.
I mean I don't agree with how he handled it but after finishing the green I realized that I maybe would have fell into the same stupid trap that anon fell into of doing something really stupid.

There is a site to enter text and it will generate the audio in the character's voice https://15.ai and there are a lot of Friendship is Magic characters and even Equestria Girls to choose from. Sorry for the late response, I have been rather busy lately and didn't have time to to put into reading, but I have just read the scene you spoke about.
Honestly it was awkward to read, but I didn't find it immersion severing, or felt like it was completely out of character (except for one bit). I wouldn't say that you were a bad person for agreeing with the protagonists point of view in their moment of anger.
Anyway I'm going to go finish the story now to see if there is anything else to comment on.
