What is a tulpa?
>A tulpa is believed to be an autonomous consciousness which also exists in a self imposed hallucinatory body, which is usually much of your choice. A tulpa is entirely sentient and in control of its opinions, feelings, movements. >It is perceived as completely real, and you don't have to constantly focus on it to keep it around. >DON'Ts: -don't fear parroting, early responses will likely feel like they're you, but they will grow more distinct with time -don't count hours spent on this, it's just a burden and feeds into expectations of how long it "should" take -don't worry that you might make a servitor or hologram, this can easily turn into a tulpa -don't be surprised if your tulpa starts moving on her own very soon -don't treat her like a doll, carrying her around in the wonderland; better to parrot a little movement than to reinforce the appearance of non-sentience -don't expect voice out of nowhere; this may happen, but it may also take a long time of listening to quiet little thoughts from her first -don't worry -- worrying and doubting only hinders things>DOs: -assume she's sentient from the moment you start-imagine her behind you or otherwise with you all day long -- this gives a head start on imposition, makes her grow faster due to always being thought of, and does wonders for your visualization skills -believe all responses come from her unless 100% certain they do not -try to imagine her form in every detail, with all your senses; this will make her feel more real -go on adventures in your mind with her when she's ready -give plenty of love and attention -trust her, much of what you're aiming to create must be at least partially done by her -be patient, don't rush things; she will progress on her own schedule

FAQ:>Where do I start? Read a few guides to get an idea of what the process is like, then decide which guide will work best for you and follow it. Ask lots of questions and don't be afraid to experiment or even mix methods to make the experience as unique as possible, for only you know what works best for you.>Where are the guides? Read the OP.>Can you kill a tulpa? If you are going to create a tulpa just to destroy it later, you probably shouldn't do it in the first place. However, it is possible to dissipate a tulpa by actively ignoring it.>Can you have sex with a tulpa? Tulpae can simulate the stimulation of all five senses, so yes. You shouldn't really make a tulpa for purely sexual reasons, though.>Can you have multiple tulpae? Yes.>What if my tulpa hates me or wants me to die? Tulpae live off the attention of their hosts. Without it, they die. Therefore, tulpae tend to treat their hosts well and love them dearly, provided the hosts do the same. However, they are also still sentient, and thus, treating them badly will cause them to act out.>Is this self-induced schizophrenia? Are you insane? Well, we're all probably a little bit insane here (it is 4chan after all), but tulpae aren't the same as schizophrenia. The main difference is that schizophrenia is uncontrollable, while tulpae can be controlled and ignored by their hosts.>Is falling asleep while forcing bad? It's not dangerous to your tulpa, but you aren't making any progress by doing so. If you have trouble staying awake try forcing while in a chair or sitting on the ground cross-legged.>Do I need to talk out loud to my tulpa and look insane? It's a personal preference, but you may also talk to your tulpa in your thoughts (mindvoice), which goes unnoticed.

My wonderland started out as the places I found peaceful (Except for the very first place) enough to meditate at like the ocean. And when I meditated each time I went there and remembered emotions like calm and peace. Most other locations built onto those current places. Some I made, but most just happened. The one place pinkamena made was a minecraft cave and it had negative emotions. Most places I made without thinking about it are in or near the ocean. With more importance on emotion or feeling and features like the water, beach sand I don't focus on. The newest was a beach island and the emotion was bright and easy going.

Okay, so I watched Looper on DVD with my tulpa. Or at least, I tried. Now, I was able to tolerate the obvious race-mixing propaganda (main character marrying a chink) but then when I had to deal with all that sappy shit about the girl "saving his life" and "cleaning him up" I needed a few beers. That's when things went to shit. When I paused the movie and told her I needed a drink, she snapped. She screamed at me. Told me that my drinking is a disgusting habit and that it's "clouding my judgement." Never mind that I've been drinking regularly since I was fucking twelve and I never had a problem with it. Still, she has the nerve to tell me that I have a "problem" with alcohol. Yet, she's perfectly fine with legalizing weed. Anyway, I told her to shut the fuck up and I called her what she was: a cannabis-loving hypocrite. Then I drank that cheap, shitty beer until her nagging became a blur in my memory. Longbow, your advice didn't work. That fucking tulpa always finds something about me to bitch about. Should I try doing something else with her? Maybe a different movie? It was really fucking difficult to get her to agree to watching a movie with me in the first place. Can you or anybody else give me advice?

There are plenty of ways religion can go. You don't necessarily have to make it (on purpose or subconsciously) based on any existing religion. You could make a religion in which the savior and creator is one who has a low social position but is still above people.
And, of course, from here, you could end up coming up with a social structure in which this could actually make sense. You could totally end up creating a whole tulpa culture and universe out of this.
The fact that you are developing a god complex could mean that you are getting there. I'm fascinated to see where this leads.
And, yes, I'm using you as a guinea pig.

I'm curious about the potential abilities tulpae might have in reality, I remember some time ago when I thought quite hard on turning the TV off without needing the remote, after some time the TV went from functioning normally to turning static for a minute or two and then proceeded to turn off. I was a little freaked out since the remote for it was across the room on my dresser. So I wonder if it's possible for a tulpa to be able to do something like that? This was something I attempted on different days and even some years after but these were older sort of TV's so I'm uncertain if I would be able to accomplish the same results if I tried on newer ones.

>>5506671 It is quite moody.
And, yes I said "It". "It" is both It's name and the adjective I use to describe It. That, in itself, is confusing.
It is a being with no specific existence. To call It a shapeshifter would be a restrictive term because that would imply It has an existence other than what it appears as. There is no "natural" setting for It.
It general keeps to certain forms which It cycles through depending on its mood. When It is feeling depressed, It is usually a little girl. Other emotions depend on what It or myself is doing at the time. For example, when it is feeling aggressive, it depends on the kind of aggressive (physically, mentally, sexually, etc).
Also, It hates that people on this thread are using the word "imposed". It finds it to be far to restricting. It implies to it that It is a subject to my will.
It gets very confusing... It is a free thinker...

Hai everyone. Came up with something that helped me with physical contact on Marigold. First I closed my eyes and held my hand up to any part on my body.I put my far enough to the part that I don't even touch the hairs on it,but close enough that I sense where it is.I remember this feeling as I go to touch Marigold on any part also. What happens is that I get a sensation where I receive a mental signal telling me that I am about to make contact with a solid object before I actually do.This same feeling is projected onto Marigold so that I better understand her "positions" and how to maneuver around her without any clipping.I found it interesting and very useful,as I don't tend to accidentally bump her very much and I believe it helps stabilize her form as I maintain her in my head,I am able to subconsciously retain it as I interact with her. I've been fine btw,but there are some things that I really need to get off my chest that I also feel that I shouldn't yet I should, since I don't want to just say it without being asked. These things bothered Marigold a bit, though I reassured her otherwise.

>>5507431 Fair enough. The safest way to kill a tulpa is to drink about a pint of bleach. This works because bleach is a powerful cleaner, and it can thus clean the tulpa right out of your mind. The next step is vital, you must drink twice as much lemon juice as you did bleach. This stops the bleach from killing you, as the acidity of the lemon juice balances the basic properties of the bleach. Bleach is twice as strong as lemon juice, which is why you need double lemon juice.

Do you even know the consequences of doing this? Did you even bother to see how Marigold feels or how it would affect her?
From what you're saying, you clearly haven't. Start using your brain, get your act together, and decide what you are going to do.

>>5508799 He said we'd make plans on getting resources.
For muscle memory,it's a strange deal.
One example was when I went to a shooting range and noticed that I was oddly proficient with a shotgun I had never handled
before. It was a hunting shotgun made to fit two shells at a time, but I managed to load three into it at a very fast rate, fire all in quick succession and reload it just as fast without my stance changing slightly. After leaving,I was told mentally that I was being assisted by him.Same thing happens with other firearms that I handled either once or not at all.
Another is when I am maneuvering across debris or trash such as in a yard or other such area,I am suddenly sent an "option" to use a predestined set of movements that would keep me from moving around obstacles manually. If I allow it,I have significantly less trouble moving and sort of go into an autopilot that has me move almost parkour-esque until it is over. That too is given with the notice that it was assistance by Shuriama.

>>5509274 >we'd make plans on getting resources Confirmed for sweet talker. Also you could just be naturally adept with firearms. There's several cases of it. Also, as for getting by debris or trash, that sounds odd, but not un-exlainable, your body can do that on it's own, it has no need of a tulpa to run through something like that easily. People just rarely need to is all. So in that sense, maybe you just do it and rationalize it later with him. People have so much potential, it's just that a lone man can't assasinate PETA, and the Religious Zealots and make significant change by himself. The age of Lee Harvey Oswalds, and Wilkes is over.

How does 'Anon' feel about just ceasing to have a form at all, and replacing itself with a void?
By existing at all, you are subject to being categorized into groups, and the only thing you can do about it is choose what categories you get put into. There is no escape from being something without being noting. Anon will now permanently exist, and there is nothing he/she can do to change that.
Not defining yourself as an individual makes everyone else's perception of yourself define you, instead. Choosing who you are might pin down exactly what kind of entity you are, but you become the only one in control of it, and can change the definition yourself.
Hope that all makes sense.
