The generals which you deleted (yes, that includes the NSFW) were tied intimately to a lot of /mlp/'s content creators, many of which provided both SFW and NSFW content. Writers, narrators, artist, animators, and a whole slew of other OC makers who got caught up in this fruitless crusade to try and sanitize /mlp/.
Many of them got banned, many of them had their material wiped off the face of the earth, many were shouted off the board by a minority of shitposters which the janitors did virtually NOTHING about. And we were left to pick up the pieces. Now /mlp/ is nothing but shitposting, ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH porn dumps, and anger towards the moderation.
You can cry a thousand tear-soaked sorry's here promising to offer a concession here and there, but those content creators don't want to come back to a board where they'll have to live in fear of the mods. And where a picture or an animation that doesn't fit within the narrow spectrum of the board's mod-established culture will send them on a one-way trip to bantown.
We're in the middle of a fucking hiatus until winter, mod. We need content. Some of that may be NSFW, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing so long as it's kept off-site and linked. Either you set things back to the way things were, or /mlp/ is either going to:
1.) Stagnate and die (best case scenario)
2.) Become a breeding hive for some of the worst /b/-tier shitposting that 4chan has to offer
3.) Containment is breached and every board on 4chan becomes /mlp/ (nightmare mode)
