This is a clear case of the mod/janitor staff being too shorthanded to cover the site at all times.

Feel threads are among the worst forms of shitposting, and as that thread proved, they attract shitposters from all over the site. /mu/ got flooded with bad posters because they decided it could be a place to host their feel threads. They certainly weren't being made by the people who actually went there to talk about music.
