When we had that, I felt like I was actually doing humanity a service by helping spread knowledge. I know Google bought that and replaced it with its dumb Google-Maps-figuring-out engine, but if there were a way to go back to the old style, I'd prefer it.
I'm glad we're not being free workers for google anymore, but this new captcha doesn't accomplish the same sort of "greater good" function that the old one does.
Also, you need to add an indication of when this one times out, like "seconds still left" or something. Mine timed out while I was typing this and I don't like that.
