Why is shitposting of all types, whether it be sincere or ironic, held in high regard on 4chan? Shitposting by its definition is making low quality, useless posts on a forum that make the website worse. Yet I see anons claiming that shitposting is fun and the primary reason why they come to 4chan. There's even a thread in the catalog trying to defend shitposting
